ZappySys Product Support & Update Lifecycle

On this page, we list the support lifecycle for various ZappySys products, covering release dates, end of support, and recommended upgrade guidance.

Once the End of Support (EoS) date has passed, no further updates or patches will be released for that version. It is the user’s responsibility to upgrade in order to receive performance improvements, new features, and critical security updates.

:warning: Best Practice
Install new versions in a development or staging environment first. After thorough testing, promote the same version to your production environment to ensure stability and minimize risk.

:hammer_and_wrench: What “Mainstream” vs “Extended” Support Covers

  • Mainstream Support (3 years):
Includes all feature enhancements, performance improvements, bug fixes, security patches, and general technical assistance.

  • Extended Support (2 additional years):
Offers critical security updates only. No new features or general bug fixes. Technical support may be limited or require premium plans.

  • End of Support:
No updates or official support — upgrading to a newer version is required to continue receiving updates.

:shield: Licensing & Update Policy

:lock: Perpetual License

  • Updates (including security patches and new features) require an active support agreement.
  • :x: No updates if the support agreement has expired.
  • :arrows_counterclockwise: To resume updates, the support agreement must be renewed annually.
  • A perpetual license allows indefinite use without updates if not under maintenance.

:date: Subscription License

  • :white_check_mark: All updates are included while your subscription is active.
  • :stop_sign: Expiry of subscription ends access to updates and support.
  • Ideal for worry‑free access to the latest versions and assistance.

:loudspeaker: Important Notes

  • Always apply updates in a development/test environment before rolling them out to production.
  • Support and update policies may change — we will provide advance notice.
  • For complete licensing terms, see our License Agreement or contact support@zappysys.com.

:link: Vendor & Platform Dependency

  • API / Service Vendors:
Many ZappySys connectors and components integrate with third‑party APIs and services. If an API vendor retires or discontinues a specific API version (e.g., Google Universal Analytics GA3, Google Ads API v17), ZappySys must also drop support for that version, regardless of our own lifecycle schedule.

  • SQL Server Support Lifecycle:
SSIS PowerPack depends on SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). If Microsoft ends support for a given SQL Server version (e.g., SQL Server 2012), SSIS PowerPack will no longer support that version even if the ZappySys lifecycle table lists it as active.
