Introduction

This guide shows you how to compress one or more files using our tool.

Prerequisites

  • SSIS PowerPack: Download and install the ZappySys SSIS PowerPack from this site.

Steps

First, drag and drop our Compression task inside the Control Flow

Compress File(s) - Create a single archive (one for all)

Compress one or more files into a ZIP file format.

Note: This option exclusively works for ZIP format.

Compress each file individually as a zip/gzip archive.
